About 3 weeks ago I applied for job and did not have any convictions or crimes committed. Well on Monday the 10th I plead no contest in a felony theft because I didn’t want to risk losing in a jury trail and go to prison. I had a interview today, December 11th, 1 day after my plea. I want to know,
Will that conviction will appear on a background check within the next few days?

Tuesday, July 14th, 2009I went to a job interview and was offered a job pending the results of the per-employment drug screen (which i took right then and passed they have a new cup that gives the results right away) anyway is there a differance between a background check, and a background verification. Also this job does require you to have a secret clearance, but no check will be needed for that becasue i already have a active secret clearance. so i am just waiting on the results of the background verification now
